you know what i just cant wait 4 this project!! Basiclly what we are doing is creating a horror/thriller trailler which will reinforce stereotypes about a female being a central protagonist. The main character who is a women who is obsessed mentally and physically with her past relationships and takes out her anger on the men that she is currentlt going out with. She kills men because of the way that she has been treated.

We have completed a majority of the tasks that was set for us. The only thing that was left to do is create the script and record our work. We know exactly what to do, therefore this makes it easier for us therefore this enables us to do our work better.

By researching traillers which falls into the same category I have learnt some of the different shots that was used as well as differnt coventions that was used. It also has enabled me to see the types of ideas that they have used.

Over the next week, we have decided that we are going to decide what location to use and how we are going to record the shots.

Horror Trailer

Our media production consists of a horror trailer, which will feature a disillusioned female protagonist who as a result of being badly mistreated by men in the past, seeks revenge on innocent men by murdering them.

Throughout this past week, all the group members have been using lesson time to pitch ideas for the story boards, in which we have all contributed.

I have also been collecting relevant research on the conventions of trailers and specific horror trailers; such as "Silence of the lambs" as the narrative proves similar to our trailer. By researching other trailers, it provides me with an insight into the suitable conventins that will need to be present in my trailer, such as the camera shots, mise-en-scene and the duration of a trailer.

Over the next week, all the group members will be finishing of the storyboards for our trailer and finding suitable locations for our trailer. We also hope to start filming as we will be prepared.
